The Return of the Jackal
Play as the Jackal, a professional art thief who must get in and out with the prized Bobby Pin without being spotted or setting off any alarms.
Description
The game centers around the Musee d' Bobby Pin and the theft of it's most prized Bobby Pin by an art thief known only as the Jackal. You play as the Jackal who has snuck into the museum at night. You must find the control room and disable the video camera watching the prized Bobby Pin before being able to snatch it and win the game. Avoid being detected by the roaming security bots and setting off the alarms by tripping any laser beams. I created this game years ago in Adobe Flash and decided to remake it with GameMaker. The idea for the game came from an office I used to work in. One of my co-workers created a diorama of a museum that displayed bobby pins that were randomly found around the office. Moments before the museum's grand opening, it was vandalized; the perpertrator stole all the bobby pins and signed their work with a single calling card from "The Jackal".
