Description
Some of the squares in the grid contain mines. Left-click on any square to reveal its contents, but if you reveal a mine, you lose. Right-click a square to flag it as a suspected mine, and right-click again to clear the mark. If a square does not contain a mine, revealing it will reveal the number of mines in the adjacent squares (including diagonals). If all unmarked squares around a number are known to be mines, you can right-click the number to mark them all, and if all adjacent mines are marked, you can left-click the number to reveal them all... but if one of your marks is incorrect, you will reveal a mine and lose. Reveal all non-mine squares to win. The buttons in the top-right corner are trainers and special features.- Overfilled: When this trainer is active. numbers will turn red if you have marked too many mines near them. This means you've definitely made a mistake!
- Filled: When this trainer is active, numbers will turn blue if the correct number of mines have been marked near them. You can left-click a blue number to reveal all other squares near it, assuming your flags are correct.
- Fillable: When this trainer is active, numbers will turn green if all unmarked squares adjacent to them are known to be mines. Right-click these numbers to quickly mark all of the mines.
- Logic: This feature will highlight in yellow any squares whose contents can be deduced logically from the information already provided. (It may be very difficult, but it is possible!) However, if you have already flagged an empty square, you will lose.
- Guess: If no remaining squares can be uniquely determined to be mines or empty, clicking this button will automatically open a random square with the lowest available number. If you have any incorrect flags, or if any squares can be determined (you can use the Logic button to check this), you will lose. This button is a handy way to start a fresh puzzle.
