Description
"Rune Runner" is a short, but frustrating, platformer centred around collecting red runes to open a
portal to the next level. Some levels have purple runes that you use at the end of the game
to summon a dragon, known as "The Crimson Beast" which you must slay in order to save the realm
from the unspeakable horrors of the dragon! However, beware the night... many things change
along the path of the rune runner when night falls.
In Rune Runner you can choose to play as either a male or a female character!
Simple Controls:
A - Left, D - Right, **Space **- Jump, W - Climb, **Shift **- Sprint.
Pressing 'M' while you play will mute sounds.
If you mess up you can always restart by pressing 'R'
How to Play:
Rune Runner has 3 areas with 4 levels each, meaning you have 12 levels to try out
this challenging platformer puzzle game. Built to be difficult rune runner sets out to
challenge it's players with difficult platforming and puzzles all set around a simple idea:
collect runes.
Your most useful control is sprint. This option makes most jumps easier.
The game is designed to be a challenging platformer that sees an increase in difficulty as night falls, monsters, lava and darkness
all stand in your way once that night timer hits 0.
Follow the arrow that appears around your character as this will guide you to the nearest rune as this will disappear when night
falls.
Version 1.3:
Updated graphics settings by turning off "Interlope colour between pixels" which fixed the blurry textures. Fixed a bug with the Shadow enemy that caused the game to crash.
