DEMO PATCH NOTES - 0.0.0.16
Added interactivity with most objects! Added a tad bit more stuff to a certain room. Added ability to heal with Magic. Note that Ker might be a little broken with this, so don't try healing with Ker.
DEMO PATCH NOTES - 0.0.0.15 Always make sure you fix your glitches before going live! Several bugfix updates later...
Added a music player!
Fixed glitch where a certain easter egg would trigger in places it's not supposed to.
DEMO PATCH NOTES - 0.0.0.12 - Oops, I made the exact same mistake I made in version 0.0.0.8. This patch fixes that.
DEMO PATCH NOTES - 0.0.0.11 - Added the ability to disable the music. Note that will not persist on the browser version as of yet. Added another easter egg.
DEMO PATCH NOTES - 0.0.0.10 Fixed an out-of-bounds clip accidentally left in 0.0.0.9
DEMO PATCH NOTES - 0.0.0.9 Yes, I skipped a version. I originally uploaded this as 0.0.0.8, but there was some development leftovers of the full game left over. Sorry.
Overhauled a certain room. Fixed bug where the opening cutscene text skips automatically (finally). Added text skipping: pressing the menu button will instantly skip through any set of text and will act as if it was over. Added full gamepad support.
DEMO PATCH NOTES - 0.0.0.7 Fixed an out-of-bounds clip. The game now runs in GameMaker version 2022.8.0.34, which should cut down load times on the browser build.
THE DEMO IS OUT!! Note that the demo is based off of an early development stage, and as such, there will probably be plenty of bugs. If you notice any, report them to me. In the demo, you will have four party members to start out with, and Items have been temporarily disabled.
Omnifate is a turn-based RPG, in development, in GameMaker Studio 2, for PC, with console ports planned. It boasts a Final Fantasy - inspired turn-based battle system, retro-inspired graphics, an original soundtrack so good that the composer can't stop listening to it, and some corny jokes (probably).
