A short film noir themed murder mystery visual novel.
Description
In 1949, London detective Terry Stone, takes on a murder case at an "in the middle of nowhere" hotel. Investigate the crime scene and figure out "whodunnit" in this film noir themed murder mystery. "Murder Motel" was originally made in 2022 for my final major project on a game's design course in college. It was made at a time where I had next to no programming knowledge, so I basically had to learn everything on the fly. I decided to put it up here as, while I don't think its anywhere near perfect, its a piece of my history, and I believe that in order to really appreciate our best works, we must look back on how far we've come.
